Marathon Fire Rated is a system developed as part of a 30 minute sliding fire door assembly to BS476: Part 22: 1987 and should be installed on the non-fire risk side of an aperture.
This hardware should be fitted with a solid core FD30 or FD60 timber-based fire door.
With two variations available, you can chose between our FKD1 self-closing or FDK2 non self-closing system. Please consult your Building Inspector prior to purchase to determine if your application requires a self-closer.

To be used for fire control only. Cannot be used for smoke control.
